To help you organise your use of MATHGYM I have provided some ideas and reproducible masters which you might find helpful.
To obtain a copy of the masters click on a link below, fill out the forms and a customised web page will be produced for you to print. Just click on "File" and then "Print" when the page is produced, then run off as many copies as you wish.
- How to identify readiness for Mathematical problem solving. This page describes the behaviours I look for in determining a student's readiness for Mathematical enrichment with problem solving.
- Permission Letter for parents. This is a letter to parents/guardians advising them of their child's invitation to participate, informing them about the on-line Tutorial, its cost, and requesting their permission and payment to register their child.
- Introductory Handout for students. This handout describes the Tutorial, how to register, and how to Log-on.
- Class List for teachers. I recommend that you keep a record of all your students' Log-on information in case they forget/lose theirs. This page generates a table to keep such a record.
